At Vita Nova at Newport Bay, we believe in long-term addiction treatment that sets the foundation for lifelong sobriety. This starts with high-quality medical detox, which helps you outlast acute withdrawal and come out on the other side in a stable place to start beating your addiction for good.
The very first step to having any hope of beating addiction is to get all of the substances and toxins out of a person’s body. Then, the true work of recovery begins. But you must get through this step first. This is typically a 5-10 day process, sometimes longer.
Comprehensive evaluation of individual needs and circumstances for personalized treatment planning.
Experienced medical professionals monitor progress, provide guidance, and ensure safe recovery.
Nutritious and delicious meals prepared to meet dietary needs and support well-being.
Ongoing guidance, encouragement, and resources for sustained growth and long-term success.
The Vita Nova team is ready to answer any questions you have about drug or alcohol addiction treatment.
Residents are advised to bring 7-10 days of clothing as well as a form of identification. Toiletries are provided by the facility.
During detox, residents are not given access to their phones or any devices. You can make a supervised phone call with the facility phone.
We can administer certain prescription medications if we deem it necessary to help you overcome acute withdrawal. These medications will be dispensed carefully and on a taper schedule (to avoid inducing a replacement addiction).
Residents can smoke tobacco in designated areas outside the facility. However, cannabis is not allowed.
During inpatient detox, in-person visitations are not allowed.
We invite you to contact the Vita Nova admissions team by filling out and submitting the form here. Our admissions counselors are ready to talk treatment options and to respond to any other inquires you may have.
